Clinic/Early Intervention, M.A., CCC-SLP

Macon grew up in Lynchburg, Virginia, and received her undergraduate degree in Child & Family Development from the University of Georgia before receiving her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from George Washington University. She is a certified speech-language pathologist through the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Macon has had many different experiences throughout her professional career, beginning in the public school system in Richmond before trying the private clinic setting in Nashville, TN. When moving back to Richmond, Macon knew she wanted to continue in the private setting. Her clinical experience includes: articulation and phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, fluency, assistive technology, and early intervention. Macon also recently became a PROMPT trained therapist. When she is not working, Macon enjoys spending time with her husband Charlie exploring all that the city has to offer, especially live music!
