Abby Sayles

Clinic/Early Intervention, M.S., CF-SLP

Abby is originally from Virginia Beach and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech in Human Development with minors in Disability Studies and Language Sciences. She went on to earn her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from James Madison University. Abby has experience working with children with a variety of diagnoses, needs, and backgrounds across multiple settings. Her clinical experience includes working with expressive and receptive language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Autism, developmental delays, and more. She has provided services in school settings, private clinic settings, preschool settings, early intervention, and a specialty day school for individuals with autism. Abby has always known she wanted to work with the pediatric population and is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. Her goal is to make therapy engaging, individualized, and fun while celebrating each child’s progress and helping them grow into confident communicators. In her free time, Abby enjoys spending time with friends and family, going on walks, playing pickleball, and finding new restaurants. She is excited to be part of the Spot On team!
