Amber Jenkins

Clinic/Early Intervention, M.S., CCC-SLP

Amber has known she wanted to be a pediatric speech-language pathologist since she was in high school. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from the University of Virginia and her Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology at James Madison University. She has experience in schools, hospitals, and clinic settings and they all have affirmed that being an SLP is the only job for her. Amber has a passion for early intervention and believes that a family centered approach is the best way to engage, support, and strengthen kiddos. Amber also believes that evidence based practice is top priority and is committed to continued learning. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Shep, plant shopping, and crafting. She is new to Richmond and Spot On, and is so excited to be part of the team!
