Claire is originally from Newport News, Virginia, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.Ed.) in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Psychology from the University of Virginia. She went on to receive her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from James Madison University. Claire has experience working with children across a variety of settings, including early intervention and outpatient private practice. Her clinical experience includes working with children with receptive and expressive language disorders, language delays, articulation and speech sound disorders, developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, pragmatic language and social communication differences, fluency disorders, and oral motor intervention. She is especially passionate about working in early intervention, where she enjoys partnering closely with families and incorporating therapy strategies into children's everyday routines to support meaningful communication growth. Claire is dedicated to providing individualized, engaging therapy that is tailored to each child's unique strengths and needs. She believes that empowering families is an essential part of helping children become confident and successful communicators. Outside of work, Claire enjoys spending time at the beach with her family, going to concerts, exploring new restaurants and coffee shops with friends, and baking sweet treats. She is excited to be part of the Spot On team and looks forward to supporting children and their families on their communication journey!
