
Katherine Cave
Katherine, local to the Richmond area, received her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and her master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College. Katherine values using neurodiversity-affirming, child-led, and play-based approaches. She has clinical experience working with children with various diagnoses including autism, gestalt language processing, ADHD, apraxia, articulation and phonological disorders, language delays, and more. She also works with children and adults with tongue ties. She received training in manual therapy techniques for swallowing disorders and disorders related to the tongue, mouth, and jaw. In her free time, Katherine enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, taking walks, and playing with her shih-tzu and golden retriever!
