Katherine Comparetto

Katherine is an RVA native and received her undergraduate degree in psychology from VCU and her graduate degree in occupational therapy from VCU/MCV in 2003. She has provided occupational therapy in a variety of settings in VA, MD, and DC with the pediatric population including in mental health, hospitals, clinic-based, and in the home with early intervention. Katherine has partnered with the community to provide trainings and adapt environments in daycares, museums, and preschools for children with special needs. She has extensive training in a wide variety of areas including feeding, Kinesiotaping, NeuroDevelopmental Treatment (NDT), Sensory Integration, motor planning, handwriting, and overall development. She is a registered Yoga instructor (RYT-200), and a Budding Yogis trained pediatric and special needs yoga teacher as well as a Certified Educator In Infant Massage (CEIM). Katherine enjoys using her varied experiences working with children to provide a holistic and well rounded treatment approach and partnering and building relationships with families for the best possible outcomes. In her spare time she loves doing family photography, working out, and spending time with her husband and 2 young children.
