Lucy is originally from Colorado Springs, but found her home in Richmond when she moved to complete her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at VCU in 2024. Her love for OT started young with learning about hippotherapy and therapeutic horseback riding, both areas she is still passionate about! She loves working with children and their families to provide neurodiverse-affirming care to build strengths and support learning! She has pursued further education in praxis and motor planning, interoception, and sensory integration, including certifications through CLASI. In her free time, she loves to explore Richmond restaurants, read a book from her ever-growing shelf, and spend time outside with her fiancé and friends!
