Monica Dangerfield

DS, Early Intervention, M.Ed.

Monica has been a Developmental Specialist in the Richmond area since 2011, and prior to that, was a Kindergarten teacher for 5 years in Fairfax County and Richmond City. Monica earned her BA from Mary Washington and her M.Ed. from George Mason University. She holds triple teaching licensure in Virginia; ESOL K - 12, Pre K - 3, and Preschool Special Education. Monica typically starts and ends her day teaching English to children in China, so she is very comfortable talking to the screen for Telehealth sessions! She also stays busy as a Wellness Advocate with doTERRA essential oils, and a caretaker for her 94 year old grandmother. Lastly, but most importantly, Monica is mom to two kids, Hudson and Sadie! Monica and her husband, Ted, moved to Richmond in 2008, and they now live in Brandermill. You can often find them on walks, bike rides, or rock hopping in and around Richmond!
