Susanne Gore

Susanne Gore has been enthusiastically serving clients and their families as a speech/language pathologist since 1995. She has worked in outpatient rehabilitation since 2008. Prior to 2008, she worked in specialized private and state behavioral centers, as well as 4 years in public school systems with goals of transitioning adults to be functional members of the community. She also taught Public Speaking at Northern Virginia area Community Colleges from 1996-2002.

Susanne has extensive experience in the areas of: Autism Spectrum; ADHD and Emotional Dysregulation; Assistive Technology (Designing Communication Systems); Fluency; Apraxia; Language, Auditory, and Cognitive Processing; Articulation and Phonology; Pragmatic Language; and Selective Mutism.

Continuing education pursuits have included: ongoing research of current ASHA, NSA, and SFA Fluency Therapeutic Strategies; DIR-Floortime, ABA, and PROMPT. Susanne also holds ADHD-CP and ASD-CP certificates. Additional coursework has been completed in the areas of: Apraxia, Language Processing, Auditory Processing, Assistive Technology, Selective Mutism, Voice, Swallowing, Literacy, and Maladaptive Communication Behaviors.

Treasuring the ability to serve both pediatric and adult populations, she believes that each generation is able to inspire and teach each other through their trials and triumphs.

Susanne displays a strong belief in the power of evidence-based therapy, while always viewing our primary therapeutic goal, as “making life just a bit better for our clients and their families."
