Tammy has 33 years experience as a Newborn Intensive Care (NICU) nurse and clinical nurse specialist. She helped to develop and run a developmental follow up program for graduates of the NICU for 20 years. She is a certified infant massage therapist, has worked in pediatric home care and was a developmental therapist/case manager in early intervention for 8 years. Tammy has worked with various nonprofits, teaching parenting classes and providing consultative services. She is a certified early intervention provider as a developmental specialist.
Tammy’s specialty is preterm and medically complex infants and young children. This may include such diagnosis as congenital heart condition, genetic disorders, extreme prematurity, and infants on medical equipment such as ventilators or feeding tubes.
